Just off the phone with BT this morning. Seems ZF have been taking pricing strategies from JLR 
ZF no longer manufacture the 6HP26, and as such is an inconvenience to make parts for this box. After the next batch they have manufactured, the prices will be increasing by around £250 + VAT for a new TC, according to BT...
