Tag/hanger for connecting fuel cap to vehicle

Morning all

Does anyone know if it's possible to replace just the rubber tie/tag/hanger that connects the fuel cap to the vehicle? Mine has snapped for some reason and to keep things neat I'd like to replace it. Anyone bought one? Or will it be (as I fear) that you have to buy a whole new cap?

Cheers in advance Thumbs Up

James

mines the same, thinking if maybe cable ties might work , but know it's needs some form of give to allow the cap to go round and be undone

haven't been able to find it separately

If the diameter of the cap is 70mm, this may fit

Thanks for the suggestions Thumbs Up

I have to admit I didn't think of searching for a whole new cap as I thought they would be a lot more than 14 quid. Reckon I'll just get one of those and keep the old one in the spares box Thumbs Up

Cheers

Has anyone measured the OD to see if the Volvo (70mm) one fits?

Before a backlash of,,,do it yourself replies Whistle

I'm overseas and won't dare ask SWMBO to measure the fuel cap Whistle

It's not so much the diameter that put me off the Volvo one, it's that the Disco one has a rubber nobble (technical term Rolling with laughter ) that presses into the body I think, whereas this one has a small eyelet
