Parking Sensors
We have not long taken delivery of the new to us D4 09 HSE...nice motor and a good upgrade from the D3 HSE minus a fair few "mod cons"
One thing that I was asked by 'er indoors but likes to drive occassionally is why has the parking sensors changed...i.e. front ones dont come on automatically at low speeds except if REVERSING???
Also shes saying that the warning "beeps" are not as loud...can any of these be altered or turned up?EGR Valves Blanked, Bluefin Mapping, Back Windows Tinted, Side Step Fitted, Alarm modded, BT upgraded, New battery fitted, Light protectors fitted, Wind Deflectors fitted, Door sill protectors, bonnet catch switch, performance air filter, Ladder to nowhere, BT module upgrade

Did the front ones ever come on automatically at low speed, normally you actually have to switch the front ones on manually or select reverse, this will make all the sensors active, they will then turn off when you get to 10mph

D4 MY13 HSE Lux - RLD/IID BT
P38 RR - Sad parting

The ' activate below 10mph' feature was only on earlier D3s. Mine doesn't have it. It's not just a D4 thing 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

Why doesnt that surprise me...put it all on to start with and then strip stuff off...and if your lucky offer them as "add-ons" just so you can drop the price of the car a tad...then by the time you have all the extrras added to bring the spec up to the previous the real price is shown
They will be shrinking the car next.....oh wait.....
