Right, I used gtechniq c4. It was a lot of hard work in the prep and didn't last too long. Never mind the price.
I found ballistol to be cheaper and more effective but didn't last half as long as the c4.
But, this is the one. I then bought 'wipe new trim restorer' about 7 months ago for a quarter of the price of the c4. Its applied in a similar way but preparation is simpler and less buffing after. You still have to keep the plastics dry for 24hr after application but does it work well,.. I haven't had to touch the plastics since. A quick wash with my normal car shampoo and they still look like new

I am surprised nobody has mentioned the 'Heat gun' method yet...!
You obviously have to be very careful when using the heat gun near your paintwork, but it does work very well. I used to have a VW T4, and this method is very popular if your bumpers were not colour coded. It brought the bumpers and plastics up like new and was permanent. Psycho by name, chilled by nature....!

Used some forever black stuff today for the first time. Used a microfibre cloth instead of the foam applicator (leaves streaks).
Plastics were in poor condition from wax getting on parts and starting to turn white
Rear done first
Bumper done, arches not just for contrast
All finished. Took around 1h 30min to wash, dry and paint the plastics.
