Bluetooth streaming on Disco4 2010 HSE
Hi
Does anyone know if music/audio can be streamed using bluetooth to a Disco4 2010 HSE. Has anyone tried it? Or is it only an AUX cable job?
Thanks

There is a widget you can get for the end of the curly lead, Layen I-dock. Works with the iPhone kit on the D3 but haven't got round to seeing if it works on the D4 yet.

Thanks DSL!
I guess the built in system does not support streaming out of the box. Oh, well, more gadgets for Christmas! ) Discovery 4 2010 HSE in Stornoway Grey

You are right, it isn't supported on 2010 discos. Think it came in with the 2012 face lift and switch to 8sp/rotary controller.

The description says that it is not suitable for cars for some reason. Having said this, it does look like the standard old ipod connection.Discovery 4 2010 HSE in Stornoway Grey

I just got the device and connected it to the center console using the ipod cable that came with the car. I've paired my phone and started playing a song, but nothing came out when I selected iPod in the car. Very strange. Will need to do more digging to find out how it works.

Del did you ever try this? I want to add BT streaming but could do with knowing if it works in a D4 D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

Not yet, using an old iPhone for music through the curly lead. If I get a chance will give it a go.

Just tried it, no it doesn't work, I just get device error. Will stick to gaffer taping the old iphone to the roof of the cubby box.

In my 2010 HSE, works a treat. It was called a ViseeO Tune2air WMA1000 when I bought it 2 years ago, but this looks identical.2018 1.5Ti Skoda Octavia - dull as f&ck

Via the curly lead? Can you change tracks with the steering wheel buttons?

I also use a ViseeO Tune2air WMA1000
I use it via a 9X23-19H461-AA lead.
Essentially it fools the system into thinking that it is the iPhone, so steering wheel buttons etc work as if the iPhone was plugged in directly and track info is displayed on the D4 screen.
