Fair enough. Presumably someone will make a sub frame that bolts to the towing subframe location. Something with a tow bar and a decent recovery point.

The D3/4/RRS recovery points are for "on road recovery" too according to the manual. Not sure they were intended for serious off road recovery although they do seem to work well.

We saw and we're told the same. However I looked underneath and there was a plastic panel that came off with two thumb screws and from what I could see looking up and feeling there was also a solid ring attached to the subframe as per the D4. I did not remove the plastic trim so cannot be 100% sure need to get the trim off to be 100%.

The front is a steel bracket with an eyelet that bolts to the subframe. Im sure someone with a parts finder could locate this item

Having done some digging the rear looks to be part of the fixed tow bar. See Red arrow in pic below.

So it would seem that it would be simple to make a recovery point using the fixings on the vehicle but omit the towing attachment site of things if you didn't want to compromise departure angles.

I would think that the loop on the tow bracket is designed for attachment of the break away cable, and not vehicle recovery.

As said previously, Ray needs to get his ruler out!

Apparently a proper rear recovery is being developed.

The winch mount is also being developed, FOR THE REAR ONLY Rolling Eyes
