Having spotted this thread some months ago and lost the print out I spent a considerable amount of time searching for this very useful thread thread. Makes me think, wouldn't it be an idea for one of the mods to make this a sticky? Oh, just spotted it is, and I've been searching the wrong sections LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Disco's now done 23,000 and now preparing for my Alps & tintent trip this summer (going to be a lot of hills so plenty of braking required)
So this weekend I'm going to check the brake pads ... Only prob is that I have no idea what the measurement should be so that I can rely on the brakes for the trip (about 2,000 miles I reckon) and replace them before they get to the point where the sensor fires off.
Anyone give me the info please? TIA

Ordered all the bits off The Large One to do the front & rear at the weekend.
BIG savings when compared to my local dealer
Ordered a couple of 12v sockets as well to replace the non std ones i've already put in the back & to add another one out of the way for the New Engel Fridge
Also recieved loads of PDF's from Wiggs to assist in EPB cleaning Bodsys Brake Bible
