Finally Fitted It
Bought a rear spoiler nearly 9 months ago it been gathering dust!
Finally got round to fitting it, I knew I needed a good hour from past experience!
A big thanks to a windscreen company local to me, took him 5 mins to remove the sealant from the back half of the old light, then I snapped it out and got the heat gun on the remaining few bits!
Well happy with the result! Next on the list extended black roof rails! D4 Black 2012
Black grille, window tints all round, rear entertainment, video in motion lead, rear spoiler, window deflectors + more
D3 Stonoway Grey 2009 with mods!
D3 Blue 2004

Yep, have also done the rear spoiler and the extended black roof rails.
Some of the after market rails are very very good and look exactly like OEM at a fraction of the cost.
If you didn't have door lock problems on your D3, you were lucky, it's a very common fault.
Oh yeah, one other thing, for reasons that I have never been able to understand, the rear spoilers are notorious for filling up with water. I have no idea how it gets in there, but it does. You will probably need to drill a drain hole in the underneath.
Details of that here: http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic110024.htmlMods:
Front Fogs + Halos
FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
Rear Boot Spoiler.
Twin Brake Lights.
Wing Mirror Indicator Repeaters.
