Narpy is 100% correct
In the old county geography, anything north of the Mersey = Lancashire, anything South = Cheshire
The only problem was Liverpool, as neither county wanted them (Tin hat on)
Narpy is also 100% correct about the women folk of Stockport - as a stroll through Merseyway precinct on a Saturday afternoon will confirm
