Ha ha nice one Richard. I will certainly be well off the floor. I wonder if you can pull the ladders up to stop the sheep escaping ?

Thanks Greg just one (or 2 more questions !) Is it a2 man job to mount/un mount tent ? Would you say its better to be up there than on the floor (heat wise, I was just thinking of Ice fest 2017) also are they easy to set up and take down if you needed to use the car whilst camping or would you leave it up and go with Iggy Whistle Thankyou Thumbs Up

Setup is about 5 mins start to finish, same to pack away, yes way better than on the floor, just remember where you are she you have the call in the night, that or a wide neck bottle Thumbs Up

Two person (politically correct) to fit unless you can hoist into garage or carport etc Thumbs Up

And No you cant pull the ladder up to stop Barbara escaping, it supports to second half Rolling with laughter

Mark, I had my old howling moon on the Disco and went off roading in it at one of the Icefests, folded it up with sleepingbags, pillows etc inside and put the cover on - it was fine, although Greg had plenty of laughs seeing the angle the Disco was at with 60kgs sat on the roof Rolling with laughter

And if you don't fancy that, then you're more than welcome to join me and Harry (As long as the others wait for us this time! Whistle )

As for 'Where's Phil' - He's driving deliveries most days now, but I have his number if you want me to give him a call for you Thumbs Up

EDIT: Oh forgot to say, I did load my tent onto the trailer on my own a few times, I got two long 4"x2"'s and essentially pushed the tent up and an angle until I managed to get it onto the rack - was hard work but it is possible - although the garage roof/pulley option is the best Thumbs Up

Cheers Iggy, I am quite keen to get one but as always money is a factor (and my wife !) My son goes to stay at police college in Liverpool on Saturday and that is costing us a fortune not to mention the brand new car we bought him in June although he pays some towards that. But last ice fest my bivvy was ok but I would like to upgrade a little and do some more camping with you lot as my best mate has left me for pastures new (to be a policeman Shocked ) I cannot make P/bourgh as we are moving him in on Saturday and Chepstow I am working but next year I plan to work a little less and do more camping. I would like a little feedback on Howling moon tents and weather Phill,s would be big enough. I would also fancy on of those gull wing things that go around the car just for a little more shelter. If I get one I would sell the bivvy and other tents I have to fianance the roof tent. Hope you are well Iggy its good to hear from you fella Thumbs Up

In my opinion Howling Moon are one of the best ones you can get, the 140cm one we had, managed to sleep SWMBO, myself and little Harry, but normally is was Harry, myslef and the Dog - so for you and SWMBO it will be perfect Thumbs Up

We also used to keep our stuff in there, clothing etc, it may be an idea if you can though to get the downstairs as well, but again these cost money, but well worth it. I know money is tight, but this is a cracking price - I paid £600 for mine and sold it for the same, so you will never loose money on it (If looked after) and it will last for years and years....the covers tent to go eventually, but you can new ones and even get ones made yourself Thumbs Up

The awning thing is a great idea as it will give you a covered area downstairs, I have one on the trailer, there are many makes out there as you would expect, I have a Tuff Treck, cheaper side of budgets, but does the job perfectly for me. They only do the 2.5m one now, not sure of price though. You can also get walls for them so you have a nice dry indoor area Thumbs Up

Hopefully we'll see you at Icefest, as I need to see how your shoes are holding up Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

All well here my friend Thumbs Up
