That's what I'm thinking. If not, my first Land Rover will probably be my last if the rumours on price are correct.MY16 D4 Graphite in Loire Blue

You've done it, you've found the new unofficial name. Bit like the Full Fat (FF) and Semi Skimmed (SS), it'll be the AF, the Angry Frog Disco.
SWMBO's just seen it on the Telegraph site and has remarked "God, that's ugly!!".

Hate to say I told you so, but, I told you so.
Next prediction is, the D3/4 prices will drop considerably on release.

Launching on my 50th and no invite!
I think I need to see it in the flesh before commenting. The D5 is what I have been holding out for. I only ever viewed the D4 as a face lifted D3, and besides, my old bus has been so reliable it seemed daft to change it. Roll on the 28th. D4 HSE EU6 (Known as Jeeves)

Much as expected from the mule shots and not appealing to the dyed-in-the-wool LR fan. Not a great front end but as has been said before the rear end (tailgate) will be a big issue. However, we are not the target audience. As with all of the revamped models LR are moving in a direction which they believe will pinch the Audi, BMW, Merc customers who buy SUVs but not really Off Roaders, although LR are saying this model is just as capable off road as the Disco has ever been, even though he low range box will not be standard.
It's the classic Marmite issue - love it or hate it. Jury's out for me, I will need to see it up close. A friend has the new RRS and at first I didn't like it but it has grown on me. That said I cannot like the DS and it is no replacement for the FL2, which was a great car.
All said it won't be my problem for a least 3 yearsFFRR Westminster TDV8
