Top half of "face" narrower than bottom half, with smoothly tapered sides?
Slit like "Eyes" pushed to the very top, yet unavoidably inboard from the bottom half?
Bottom half of face dominated by large droopy "mouth"?
I know that car designers sometimes like to draw inspiration from the animal Kingdom, but I'm note sure that this is a good look...
Hopefully it bodes well for a new record in wading depth 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as โsecondโ cars ๐
2021 to date: Hinckley built โ14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built โ14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!

Wow.....
Can't wait to see it in the flesh. It makes the D3/4 look very dated in my opinion.D3 HSE

i still prefer the d3/4 for now.
maybe the new defender will be designed to replace the d4.

The historical lineup photo makes the lack of roof rails look quite noticeable in their absenceD4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

Unless the bottom half if much wider in comparison to the D3/4, with the way the top half tapers in so much surely that will cut down space?
Given I am not going to be able to afford one, I guess my opinion counts for nothing with Land Rover, but from what I have seen so far I really don't like it (especially with the tailgate issue), and I just don't see why they have to follow a similar trend for the entire range.
It now looks like it could be any large 4x4 and in which case, personally I would sooner have an XC90 based on what I can currently see of the D5.Andy

Looks cool - thinking hard to differentiate from DS? - not saying that's a bad thing, but FL2 / D3&4 / RRS / FFRR all had a different look
Will sell like hot cakes
