Hi,
Update:
The disco went into the specialist the dealer uses and they were great. Turned it around in a day and a half and it cost the dealer a whopping £2700 inc VAT. They gave us a Freelander whilst the work was done.
For that, it had:
New air compressor
Blanked the EGRs
New Instrument cluster
New brake pad sensors
Fuel filter
S/H Pump covers (?)
Replaced inlet manifold seals
That is on top of the original work the dealer had done:
new suspension height sensor
new brake pads
new handbrake
So far it's been absolutely fine. It will get a full test this weekend.
All I need to do now is replace the wheels and tyres so they're the correct size. I thought about persuing the dealer for a contribution but frankly I've think we've both had enough of dealing with each other and it was always something I'd planned to do anyway.
Now, I'm also just missing a bit of plastic trim behind the handbrake switch. A scrappers has quoted me £30 for the item which sounds like an absolute rip off but it's the only quote I've managed to get! Could be just the excuse I need to buy a 3D printer
As it stands, we're happy with the vehicle and not going to reject. My understanding is we have 6 months to reject so will see how it goes over the next few months.
Appreciate all your help and advice.

My thoughts exactly, even £10 for a piece of plastic seems harsh. Any idea what the part number is so I can order one?

You won't get many Disco fixes for a fiver
Sounds like sticking with it might have been the right choice, good luck, hope you have a trouble free run with your Disco now. Arthur.

Well done on getting everything sorted, a D3 working right is the best vehicle anyone can ask for. I bought mine a '06 about 5 years ago with 6 months warranty and never contacted the dealer since I drove it off the forecourt . Routine maintenance (and a compressor and now that I think about it a clutch ) with over 200k since purchase... About 250k in total on it now, I wouldn't change for anything...

Lets get to the important bit now...........wheres the pictures?!
Forum rule, if you can't prove you have a D3 by showing pictures then it didn't really happen!!
