Transfer box calibration

Best done hot or cold?

Gut instinct tells me hot.

Anyone know any different??

Hi
How do you calibrate transfer box without IID?
Someone suggested it could be done manually. Is that so?
Many thanks, in desperation
 I have Landrover disease
10 Series Landys including 1948 Series 1 (all now gone)
A forward control 2b (ex bt)
A beige V8 County Defender (sold to a friend, now ex friend when he realised fuel consumption)
One Defender (sadly departed)
3 Disco 1's (all moved on to better places) 2 Disco TD5 both now departed
Currently D3 with facelift.
