Tow bar options

So my parents have bought a MY16 landmark from a dealer, nearly new. No towbar or associated electrics so they are looking at getting one fitted. I was wondering what the forum thought were the best options? It will only be for occasional use and then probably only a trailer so nothing heavy duty. Removable tow bar would be fine. As far as i can tell the options would be:

1. Have the dealer fit and have warranty on the parts.
2. DIY fit oem parts. Wouldn't mind doing this on a car out of warranty but such a new car worries me if anything goes wrong with bits I touch and the dealer washes their hands.
3. Aftermarket fitted by another company.
4. Have someone who knows what they are doing fit oem parts (indie, etc)

So do we go dealer and expensive but keep warranty or another option?
Thoughts? Very Happy

I went dealer for for all the reasons you gave but also the price difference and hassle to me wasn't worth it .

It's easy enough to fit yourself if you go for the removable tow bar.

The electrics are about £100 and plug and play.

The tow bar can be had off eBay or here. I have one about to sell.

The only thing to note is to disable the reverse park sensors when trailer fitted or to stop suspension levelling needs an IID tool (I think) or a dealer
