Wet Carpet
Just back from a two week break in Scotland in our Landmark my16. Decided to give it a vacuum out this morning and the drivers side carpet is soaking wet
No I didn't leave a window or sunroof open all night! Any ideas while I go and rant at the dealer?!

Usual suspects would be sunroof drain tube (poss come adrift??) or badly fitted windscreen seal?2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
Or aircon drain pipe come adrift

Could well be the air con drain then as suggested above, think they are above the transmission tunnel so could be causing the condensed water to gather in the footwell if it's come adrift.2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

The Aircon overflow was mentioned at the dealers when I dropped it off yesterday but it turns out it was a badly fitting door seal.
Drove into work this morning in heavy rain and the carpet was bone dry so happy days
Thanks for your advice CFB and CDS

And the drama continues!!
It was returned to the dealers in December '16 with the same issue, drivers side carpet soaking. This time it was the sunroof drain leaking into the interior.
Ok for two months then soaking again so we've had the drivers door seal replaced and the sunroof drain reconnected I'm wondering what the cause will be this time!!
To be continued..........

Pollen Filter
Hi all
I used the car for the first time in a couple of weeks and found the passenger side mat had a big puddle of water. Looked behind the glovebox and found the pollen filter (I think) had drips coming out.
I can't see any forum entries of D4's with this windscreen scuttle air intake leak, was it fixed between D3 and D4 or is D4 still a problem. The scuttle seems to be a good fit to the screen but the screen was replaced about 6 months ago?
