Window tinting - North Hertfordshire
Hi Guys,
Just purchased a 2011 Sd4 and have been reading the topics on window tinting.
Trade Tints at the Black Cat roundabout has been recommended, are there any others in Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire that have been used and you would recommend?
Seems that Limo tint is the most popular. I am looking at getting windows after B pillar and rear window done, is £220 still the most likely cost?

I hope you don't mind me asking, but I'm curious about your "2011 Sd4". Have you got that right?2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄
2021 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!
(One of only two known to exist in the world!)

Hi, sorry got that description wrong - its a Discovery 4 GS SDV6, date first registered in UK October 2011.
Hopefully you're not going to tell me that's a crock of s*** as I pick it up on Saturday

Hardly likely, the D4's become my all time favourite motor (and there have been a lot of cars and miles over the last 35 years ) I realise that you'd been looking at FL2's as well and they are nice cars, but the D4's the real deal
All we need now is the photos from when you collect it

Sounds like you've been driving almost as many years as me
Decided on the D4 (continued reading of this excellent forum and I will learn the lingo) as we've got two dogs to fit in the back - FL2 wasn't big enough.
But, back on topic - seems to be either Trade Tints or TTints in Luton. Has anyone used TTints?

I've used total car tint in Harpenden (basically part of Pan Autos) with good results in the past.*now enjoying* D5 Namib Orange HSE 68
