There's a bit of a difference if your forum is running at say 4k members vs the nearly 40k on here

What are A levels?
They are usually preceded by a big fart coming from the rear end of a D3/4 after it has been parked on uneven ground It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I'm the kind of chap that makes mistakes when posting and very quickly jump back in before anyone has read them to amend spelling etc and not get an "edited 1 time" message.
However, in light of recent events might it not be a good idea to simply say no editing once a post has been read?? It may stop some from behaving in a manner they could later become embarrassed about?
Alternatively, I could be missing the whole point and you guys just carry on - I know I will

As Farmer Chalk will testify, I'm a stickler for details and cleanliness.

If editing was highly restricted, one option would to just select ''Quote'' and repost the edited version - possibly making life MORE complicated.
I vote for the Status Quo.... and things staying the same....
