Led lights

Just a quick question, I've fitted led lights to my car trailer and on the back of the d3 it constantly gives a regular quick flash of the indicators. On the back of my 300tdi it doesn't. Any ideas??

CANBUS pulses, the leds require so little power the pulses are able to light them up. IID PRO

Any ideas anybody? Is it as simple as fitting a rely of sorts in the line somewhere?

The resistors will make the dash light work but won't stop the pulsing.
