Sat nav not working
My sat nav stopped working properly. It appears that it isn't reading the disc.
It's on a 2007 under seat unit.
It this what normally goes on them and is there a fix?

Cleaning kit arrived and both DVD and cd treated. Will have to wait and see if it works in the long run.

I'm in the same boat. Tried cleaning the laser with the special disc and also cleaned the DVD itself but no joy.
Someone on here mentioned about swapping the guts out of a PC DVD-ROM drive with those in the sat nav unit but I couldn't get anywhere with it. I keep meaning to have another go but haven't got round to it yet.Previously owned an '08 D3 HSE in Stornoway grey but jumped ship to see what the Swedes have to offer.

Had the same problem a couple of years back. Cleaned disc and ran cleaning disc through the Sat Nav unit neither had any affect.
Ended up buying a used Sat Nav DVD player from eBay, cost about £300:00, but it's worked fine since.Arthur.
Comedy was a horse, Harvey a dog, both sadly gone. Thought I was choosing a password!

It says Istill not a sat nav DVD in there. But it is. I think the little scanners are going to have to get used.

I have borrowed another disc which works suggesting that there is nothing wrong with the player.

It could be that the borrowed disc is only working temporarily as your unit didn't get the chance to scratch it up and render it unusable!
I swapped the drive unit out but still got the errors when using my old discs so I had them cleaned & polished at Game and now 2 out of the 3 work (I'm assuming the original 2008 disc was beyond repair).Previously owned an '08 D3 HSE in Stornoway grey but jumped ship to see what the Swedes have to offer.
