Land Rover logo stuck on screen

Hi all,
Once yesterday and once today when I've started the Disco up the sat nav screen has just stayed lit up with the Land Rover Logo. Also on the stereo it says "phone attached" then goes back to radio station name then back to phone attached and so on and the sound comes and goes. When it happened yesterday for the first time i drove to my destination and it was still the same. I left the car parked up and locked for approx 3 hours and when I came back to it all was working perfect again. Then today when I went to work it was fine and when I finished work it faulted again. This time I removed fuse 53 for approx 30 secs and it was fine again.
Has anybody had this happened to them or got any ideas what's going on please ?
Cheers Thumbs Up

My D4 will occasionally throw a hissy fit- turn on, defaults to Radio 5 on AM, no sat nav, can't change radio, turn off, let it sleep, turn back on, all Ok.
When it was under warranty, took it in, couldn't find any faults
Happens once in a blue moon
Probably not much help - sorry

Do a hard reset. See how it goes after that. Solves most electrical issues from my experience

Yep.

leave door open and bonnet open

let car go to sleep for 5 mins

disconnect battery (look at the wiki for the procedure) and then touch the two cables together to release any build up of static. circa 30 seconds or so.

re fit cables, set time on clock and you should be good. Others will know more then me but this re-boots all the ECU's I believe
