It is. Thumbs Up The 255 50 is the RRS size and will be under weight rated.

that's the correct size, the 255/50/19's are incorrect and probably underrated on the weight rating too.

Pirelli Scorpion ATRs are £127 on tyreleader at the moment. I was extremely pleased with them on my previous D4 and will be fitting a set to my new D4 in the not too distant future. Fabulous all round tyre.

Slimer.....

Thamks for that.....I am going to try some 18" wheels just to be safe before I splurge on rims & tyres.
It tight on 19" so 18's must be real tight
Many thanks

I've run a scruffy set of S type 18s over my V8 brakes - tight indeed, but fine. Thumbs Up

I run 18" with V8 brakes (on the front, back will be upgraded when they need renewing) all the time with no issues, plenty of clearance

I have Scorpion ATRs for 2 months now. Great tyres. When we had snow/hail fall 3 weeks ago and went for a fun drive I was firmly planted to the tarmac doing 60mph in 3in of snow/slash. Love them.

I vote for standard Pirelli Scorpions, great all rounder. The ATR version even better if you can source them.

Duratracs good for serious off road but I wouldn't run them for day to day driving personally due to noise, wet grip and mpg

no more noise that Wrangles I have taken off a while ago

wet grip is awesome IMHO when doing close to 100 mPH and not really getting scared through the standing water on M4 in rain....

MPG no major difference there if ran on correct pressures

and they are not for serious off road for sure more like AT tyre 50/50

Duratrack all the way every day everywhere ..... Thumbs Up

Another vote from me for the Pirelli Scorpion ATRs.

Wet grip C - same as Zeros, as opposed to Duratracs which are an E (and GG ATs which are G)

Fuel, Ive found to actually be better than standard road tyres (wintracs and GG GTs) and no noise issues either.

very tough and capable off road.

seem almost too good to be true - the only down side is that they don't look as impressive as the Duratracs. Does this matter?

One friend runs Duratracs for laning but swaps back to road tyres because of the noise.
