I am about to look at my EPB module after it jammed on. I used the emergency release where you hold down the park break lever, I didn't pull the cable. Does this rewind the motor or release in the same way as if I had pulled the cable? I have spent the last 30 mins trying to figure out the easiest way to access the module, it looks like a pain in the ass to get to! AMK compressor, 4x4 info screen

I'M not sure about holding down the park brake lever is the same as pulling cable but if the car now moves then it has released the shoes as to access it is much easier to do park brake module on a ramp or pit it is possible with some reasonable axel stands but no where as easy on your back  Discovery 3 se gone
