Time off coming up
Not through choice, it has to be said
I have been delaying booking in too much work until today, when the wife had her hospital appointment and scan today, we now have dates so can start planning appropriately
She goes in on the 3rd May (her own birthday ) so I will not be taking on any work from the 2nd May until the 15th May, and the following week (16th-20th), I will be working in Dundee. Any work needing done that week will have to be brought to me, in my new workshop
Just to make things worse, I have been called for jury duty w/c 25th April. I will be seeing if I can get out of it, incase the wife goes earlier
In any case, I am in Glasgow on the 18th, and nothing booked for 19-22nd.
If I do manage to get out of jury duty, I can take on work for the following week, but I expect it will be at short notice

You should be able to get out of jury service as a small business owner. Also your circumstances don't leave much time for a lengthy case which could drag on for weeks
All the best

Kev, I'd like to think I'll find some time to begin moving into the new place, and will find things I forgot I even had

Cheers Mikey
Oh by the way when I got caught speeding on 2/2, 36 in a 30 (lapse of concentration on my behalf I admit , what with SWMBO going through her operations/cancer and work being quiet etc ) I got a letter for court for 26/4 I hope they dont need a fu n jury for that
I thought I'd get the usual 3 points and £100 fine so what's going on??
Clean licence before anyone gets the wrong idea , or do have for another 18 days
