modifications and insurance
about to renew - on the compare sites, if I put a roof rack on the vehicle, most of the cheaper quotes completely disappear. This seems weird - am sure if I insured with them, and then puta roof rack on, they would be able to still insure me easily.....
it's strange that a roof rack counts as a modification, even stranger that it has such a dramatic effect. Costs about £100, too.....
anyone know why?

off road cover can be difficult to get as well don't assume its automatically in the policy

a-plan declined me on the grounds of my remote fbh.
Anyone else manage to find insurance cover with this mod declared or am I going to have to remove it?VR6 > 330D Touring > D3 HSE > !?XC90?!
