Key fob not working

I have been out running a cable for a reverse cam so had the batter disconnected for a while. Reconnected and tried to lock the car but nothing. None of the key functions work but the car will recognise it and start. Any one seen this before and have a fix?

Thanks

Where / how did you run the cable ?
Along the passenger side below the floor trim by any chance ?

Exactly there.........passenger side under floor trim

Mostly I just fed it through after lifting the trim. Used a bit of wire as a cable pull across the base of the B pillar.

You may well have knocked the green wire splice and disconnected it, it may be time to go back in there.

Ah crap. Where am I looking? Front, rear or just anywhere along the loom?? I had the drivers and passenger side b pillar upper trim off too, didn't notice anything behind that though so assume floor level is the issue?

See your link now. Cheers.

It can be anywhere, but here's a guide. http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic103468....ite+splice

Cheers. Back on parenting duty so likely will be dark when I get back to it. Just to make it that bit harder!

Went back out the car last night and the key fob worked straight away. Was a bit tight for time so didn't investigate the splice but will re-make it in the near future to avoid a repeat. Thanks for the help tayaste - much appreciated.
