Lightforce HID Adaptors
Anyone know if you can get these in the U.K.
Looking to convert my Lightforce 140/170 spots to HID's. You can get the from Australia but the postage is a bit steep.
Or if any members from down under are heading over this way and wouldn't mind bringing some over that would be great.
Cheers

What's the picture of?
Looks like an adapter for the bulb holder maybe?
Do you have the other parts and just need them?
One of the shooting lamp suppliers might be able to help.
Uttings and Target Sports both stock Lightforce lamps.

No not yet. Holding off until I get the adaptors or I may be lumbered with them.
Devon4x4 do a complete kit, adaptor, ballast and lamp. But they are £181 each so that would be well over £1k to do all these.

Ok, so you are going to use your own bulbs and ballasts so just need the adapters.
I was going to say to get a kit, as I wasn't sure if you knew about it.
If they sell them individually in Aus then it might be worth posting in the Australian section on here to see if someone will post some to you.
Other option might be one of the Dutch or other European Lightforce dealers listed on their website.
I have HID 140's but they probably won't have adapters in them or I could take one out to see about getting it made over here.

Had a message from another member who has a friend in Aus who may be able to help.
Don't want to buy the hid kits until I have the adaptors. Happy enough with the halogen lights but would like a bit more light. Thought of changing to LED spots but really like the look of the Lightforce units.

More than welcome to send to my place and I can forward on.
I've got an account with Auspost, so can save a bit on postage costs from here for you.

You'd need the dimensions Andy, and in honesty plastic / resin may not be the best, look to be machined form alloy, so if you can get details get a local engineering shop to cnc them Altox GSM FBH controller thread

Happy to help out if needed too.
Which supplier have you had the postage quote from?
Look at other suppliers and see what they charge?
