GGS mode
I know this questions probably been asked before and I have tried searching for it but as yet haven't found a definitive answer, is the car perfectly OK to drive around on moderately icy or snowy roads at usual speeds , am I right in thinking that the car will not do anything stupid such as try and engage the diff should you hit some ice while travelling around 50 mph for example ?

GRASS/GRAVEL/SNOW
This program should be used where
a firm surface is covered with loose
or slippery material.
Note: For deep gravel, it is recommended that
the Sand program is selected.
Note: If the vehicle is unable to gain traction in
deep snow, switching Dynamic Stability Control
(DSC) off may help. DSC should be switched
on again, as soon as the difficulty is overcome.
No matter what you engage ....hitting ice at 50 is never going to end well ....GGS is there to help but its not a miracle solution if you lose traction ....always drive to the conditions 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
