So, car serviced yesterday. Raised the hesitation issue with them (Shukers Land Rover, Shrewsbury - who, incidentally, have given up that dealership as of today to Harlows(?)). They say they checked on Topix and my car has no outstanding gearbox software updates. They said they applied all software updates as a matter of course in a service - I queried this, but was assured..... There was another software TSB on the brake switch - but as it's when rolling, it's hardly likely to be that, but they applied that anyway.
It now seems to be worse. Hesitation at junctions, increased reluctance to change down when accelerating too. However, all this could be psychological as I'm sensitive to it. It's due back in in a couple of weeks to refit the A pillar trim, so what can I get them to check for next time? Have an IIDTool if it helps to read s/w versions?

Could be they've reset the box and it has to learn your driving style?

If you have the IID, take the ecu info and see if GAP can check for any newer versions of software. Think there's a £25 charge for that. Bodsys Brake Bible

When mine was in for a few things, including the gearbox hesitation back in October they "loaded the latest gearbox software. Carry out air path setup and adjusted the brake pedal switch"
I too wouldn't have thought the brake switch would have anything to do with you continuing issue but given that they adjusted mine at the same time as updating the software then I think you shouldn't necassarily be dismissing the brake switch on the basis that the issue is when the vehicle is rolling.
Mine still hesitates like Gareth Gates on speed. MY15 D4 SDV6 HSE Corris Grey - Gone
