just fitted towbar electrics to 2014 discovery d4 commercial
used the loom with the two grey plugs down to a single 13 pin socket
question is;
there is a second loom with four black plugs on running down to a single blue/black wire
whats this for or is it a multi vehicle kit?
instructions were not too clear

Does the other loom have 2 male and 2 females joined by a short section and the other wire is long one?
If so then I suspect it's the fog light cutout, one connector plugs into the vehicle loom and the other connects to the light cluster. The other wire connects to the socket. Basically the fog lights are then fed from the socket and when a trailer is plugged in it breaks the contact and turns the vehicle fog lights off.
That's how it was on a vehicle I did recently but my own doesn't have that.
Everything will work fine without i except the vehicle fog lights will stay on when a trailer is connected. IID PRO

thanks armalites
yes that sounds about the right description of this loom
as I only tow Ifor Williams type trailer I don't think fog light reflection will be a problem

Genuine or aftermarket electrics? Sounds very much like aftermarket 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
