Was tempted to stick with the 19"s but seeing the two side by side at the showroom today made me want to go 20"!
I've driven a vehicle with Adaptive Xenon's before and I agree they're good but am trying to keep options down to the essentials as I'll probably move it on after a year anyway. The same goes for power-fold mirrors - I have off street parking so not too concerned about these either.

Timed Climate if it's not already standard.
Are you getting a rear seat conversion?
If so - Atlantech. Still lurking, although moved to the dark side: disco5.co.uk

Are the wheels diamond cut or is that just the name of the design? If so I would reconsider as there is only so many times they can be recut if you need to get them repaired.

I'll be getting mine an 1st March, I went with the following:
Style 511's
Electric Seats (purely to get the arm rests!)
Heated Steering Wheel
Reversing Camera
Santorini Black
N&S Towing Electrics
Heavy Duty Towbar
When it gets to the dealership I'm having the silver rotary dial thing added. Then it'll be going to another place for some colour coded door handles & vents, black side tubes and some new semi off road boots!
To me, thats the essentials

Go for things that aren't easily retro-fitted and spend the money there.
Alloys are easily found later.
Heated steering wheel
Park heat remote
Adaptive Xenons
Vision assist (with High be a assist etc.,)
I find the above very useful - my D4 has spent more months on 19" than 20" now.... they are garden ornaments MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)
Prospeed rock/tree sliders w/steps
HSE Winter wheels
TransK9 B24
Travall Cargo Guard
Hatchbag

Tower and electrics are an easy retro fit for a fraction of the cost
Electric/heated seats are a really good one to add
Powerfold Mirrors are vey useful plus the mirrors themselves are VERY expensive now with heating elements, sensors, indicators, etc., worth having the car fold them in of a night to keep it safe no matter where you are. MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

The real trouble with diamond cut sections on wheels is they are just lacquered, not painted - once the lacquer get any damage it soon blooms and flakes - makes them look cr*p. I had the ones on the wife's Volvo C30 refurbed in a single colour powder coat eventually.
Agree with comments on fit the difficult stuff e.g adaptive xenons - tow bars etc much cheaper elsewhere. MY2010 D4 3.0 TDV6 HSE Stornaway grey

I got a £2k discount on the car so i can just about swallow the fact I went for the dealer fit tow electrics/heavy duty tow bar!
It still pains me to think of how much I could have saved by getting them done elsewhere! Thats why I didn't go for the Land Rover side sills and extended roof rails, have you seen how much they are now!?

I park off road too, but it's not where they come into their own - for me it's passing other cars / vans / lorries / buses on narrow country roads. Could be a Cornish thing 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Thanks all for the feedback, seriously considering the powerfold mirrors now but it's really between that or the Heated Steering Wheel - promised myself I wouldn't go over a certain price .
Not too fussed about a tow bar - as you say could easily be added at a later date for less money (alongside side steps and roof rails!)

If you live out in the countryside these are a must for me.
Heated seats
remote park heater
heated steering wheel
adaptive xenons (absolute must)
surround cameras are good, especially when pulling out from hedgerow the t junction view has saved my front end several times
In control apps are a waste of time 2015 Mariana black D4 Commercial

I failed to order it when I got my commercial, and was kicking myself when I realised as my previous vehicle had SatNav with CarPlay which I found indispensable.
I'm glad I didn't get it though. From what I understand it's nothing like CarPlay, and not very useful at all as it's crippled in the Disco compared to other models.
What I use now is a Brodit ProClip next to the steering wheel and a Belkin low-profile iPhone charger in the socket nearest to me. The cable pushes in between the edges of the trim and wraps around the steering column nicely, and since it's a black cable you wouldn't know it was there. I can throw my phone onto the magnetic clip and plug it in one-handed while I'm getting settled in the car, takes seconds before setting off.
As for options, I went with:
- 510s
- Powerfold mirrors
- Electric seats with arm-rests (the arm-rests are amazing for long journeys!)
- Vision Assist pack
- Cooler box
- Extended roof rails (Discos never look right without them, IMHO)
- Surround cameras (the side ones are very useful, front no so much)
- Side-steps (if you're not over 6ft I'd recommend them)
I've not realised a need for heated steering/seats personally; I find the heating heats the cab pretty quick – it's a big void, so I'm quite surprised at how quick it gets warm – and haven't noticed the seats/wheel getting so cold to be uncomfortable. 2016MY Discovery 4 Commercial , 3.0 SDV6 Auto, Santorini Black, side-steps, 510s.
Mods: LED interior lights. Front guard.
Soon: black grille, tinted windows.
