Why stop a perfectly good bicker?
A good bicker about random things is part of what makes this forum stand out compared to some of the other s ones! I can only see a dog/pet section and even a country sports section adding to the enjoyment of the forum! As said if you aren't interested or don't want to be interested don't click and look at it simple! D3 x2 now gone

I or my dogs have eaten everything I've shot or caught, I'm in tune with what I eat. When you're in the supermarket what do you think happens to your meat and fish before its wrapped in plastic? If you're a meat eater you're probably eating animals that have been killed in a manner compliant with Halal traditions, what's your thoughts on that?
Actually its more likely to be non Halal than Halal, particularly if you buy British (<15%) and none of the major supermarkets stock meat or meat products from animals that have not been stunned before slaughter!

Why do you think I inflict suffering? Death is not suffering. Do you eat meat? How do you know the slaughterman didn't enjoy killing your Sunday roast, does that make it different? The fallow deer that died in my fields that I posted about had been gored 3 times by other bucks, nature is cruel most humans are not. I would much rather know where my food has come from, how it died and I take great pleasure in knowing it lived a good life and died a good death by a dog, bullet, shot, or if a fish a smack on the head.
But that's the point died a quick and good death by dying quickly. I have taken enough pigs to the slaughter house to be killed and it's done quickly. UNot some long drawn out affair where it suffers. And just has importantly the meat is eaten.
You haven't spoken to many slaughterman then. What about the stressful journey before hand, holding pens etc hearing what's going on? The game that gets shot gets eaten, the vermin doesn't, I'd draw the line at eating a rat or a fox. But even a rat or a fox will be killed as cleanly, I've killed or observed the killing of hundreds if not thousands by every method imaginable, but I'd only condem a method if I'd seen it not just give a knee jerk reaction, but then I'm a murdering b d in the eyes of anyone who lives in the Walt Disney world.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Let you in on a little secret, its a legal requirement for all animals to be stunned before slaughter in New Zealand there are no religious exemptions.
National newspapers only print the stories that make headlines even if it means omitting bits.
