You may have misread charging as changing?

Ah yes, I did Wink Sorry.

Got it on a charger now. It measures 12.9V on my multimeter but the charger seems to think it needs charging.

The pillars are named A, B, C and D from the front to back. Problems of water ingress due to loose A-pillar trims are quite common. Thumbs Up

Thanks, learnt something new Smile

Will have a look under the wheel arches and check the pillar trims.

The TCCM looks bone dry from the outside - couldn't figure out how to open it up though. is it this thing?

Answering my own question....yes that's the TCCM, well the plastic cover for it (info found here > http://www.landroversonly.com/forums/f41/e...post401975)

will whip it off and have a look at the contacts

TCCM is all good, but I squirted the connections with WD40 anyway. I did the same with the wiring in the drivers footwell below the A pillar where it is wet and left the trim off. This morning I had no faults...

The only symptom now is a single long flash of the hazards on unlocking the vehicle. Yet it does do a multiple flash when you lock the car. Odd.

Best option I can see is getting the water ingress stopped and drying out the driver's footwell, then take it from there.
