I assume the material is separating from lining?
I think you will need another one. try a wreckers. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

I used to own an 1989 Range Rover and had the headlining come away. I removed the grab handles, interior lights and whatever else was screwed through it and removed the fibreglass(?) shell for want of a better word out through the rear. I removed all of the old lining, cleaned it up and took it to an upholsterer. A week or so later I collected it and refitted it; the price was quite reasonable but I can't recall what it was. It wasn't the glue that had given way, the foam in between the shell and lining had broken down with age.

Given it's Cairns, the foam has probably disappeared completely. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

My 2007 has a few saggy bits too, the Queensland heat doesn't agree with D3 roof linings.

The head lining finally gave way. Having returned from overseas after 7 years we moved to the Northern Rivers in NSW and found a guy in Maclean who replaced the headliner material and repaired the whole roof and for just a mere $250. What aren't all LR repairs so reasonable Take the road less traveled. More details would be appreciated as not only the headlining (and only behind the second row seating) but also the A pillar on the driver's side is also giving up!LeighW
The old girl is on her third engine...
* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)

The lining on the roof was coming down on mine in the passenger area and the A pillars on the windscreen. The A pillars can be removed and glued but the head lining needed to be completely re done. I will add some photos of the finished job which I am very pleased with. The material is slightly different from the original but the colour is such a good match that you would need to know that the liner had been replaced to notice.Take the road less traveled.
