Strange noise

Guy,s
Done a search but would like confirmation on a couple of points.
The last two or three times I have come home switched off,key out walked away and something is still running under the bonnet ?
Secondly just lately the front end is dipping down a little overnight, would this be a leak in the block under the wheel arch. Back is fine and she is straight back up when running, plus all settings working fine.
Thanks

To the first question, it is that the FBH is working for a while, no problem at all Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

and to the second...I had that problem is a slow loss of air probably for the front box valves..It is not serious but is a nuisance

Thanks for getting back, and thought it might be the FBH. Nice to get confirmation. In answer to the question about how far does she drop, l would say about 3 inches in old money but can still get my hand under wheel arch.Would you leave it for now as I don't think the compressor is working all the time.

It's both sides, and sits level when dropped,so more likely to be the block ?

Thanks for your help geoffsnook, have read your link, minefield as usual, wil try the soapy water, clamp idea when it warms up outside. Do you know why they suggest disconnecting the battery as another idea, what does that do ?

Even though it's asleep it will still level itself every couple of hour's so when the battery is disconnected then it wont do it if you have some where to park it safely then it may be worth disconnecting the battery and see if it still drop's Thumbs Up
