She will be on ebay this week and if she does not sell she'll be going into the 4x4 auction at Brightwells Leominster. Thing is there is a Disco3.co.uk sticker in the rear window. Do I remove it or leave it Obviously if I leave it, the new owner will probably have a look at the site and eventually see pictures of their car being 'used' as a 4x4. Good thing or bad thing In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Good thing. I think that with a list of whats new on her the new owner will be more than happy for such a high miler. If she still rides like a limo still and sounds sweet as a nut, then it proves that a modern Landie is a good long term investment and is capable of a bit of off road action.
Or did you knock the clock back a bit

Should a new owner be put off just because it's been off-road? It has been cared for, maintained and loved ..that's important. Leave a photo album titled 'My great life' hidden in one of the rear cubby's..... showing pic's of all the fun she's had 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I like DGs idea.
I'd keep the sticker on. Can you be blamed for using a Land Rover off road? I reckon it's only a good thing that it's coped with all that can be thrown at it (eg. the photo DiscoStu just posted) and can then be returned to the gleaming beauty it is in the photos you've just taken.
Might be interesting to hear how your old car is getting on in new hands too! 2007 Porsche Boxster (987) 2.7

Alternatively, if there were two side by side, same colour, same visual condition, but one had the Pearls' history and one had just done the school run - which would you buy?
If you hadn't done this thread you'd have been ok - no-one would have recognised it anyway Disco 5 HSE Lux

Got 3 of my own
They've now actually managed to scratch through the vinyl (or similar) covering on the rear door to bare metal So, yeah, you have a valid point Disco 5 HSE Lux

If e-bay, you should leave it on as they ahve to buy based on description etc. If Auction, leave it on as it doesn't make any difference at that point.
In fact, it, just leave it on and buyer takes their chance as long as you haven't described it as 'Never been off road... " Bodsys Brake Bible
