It will fit yes, but in a D4, it's very highly recommended to replace with another AGM battery die to the high demand and the quicker charging time of an AGM battery.Bodsys Brake Bible

Best winter thing I've done on my D4 was to change the original non AGM battery to an AGM one

The best thing I did before xmas on my D3 was swap my non AGM battery for an AGM Exide, better suited to my short journey times

Should you be tempted to fit a non-AGM to your D4 it will need a CCF parameter changing to provide the correct charging voltage, as well as resetting the BMS.
I agree that fitting an AGM would be best.

Whatever it is OEM or not My11 D4 should have an AGM battery, take the battery out quite often they have a booklet/guarantee card stuck on the side or end, it may still be under warranty. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I would say your current Varta battery is not AGM, going by the removable top up plugs in the pic.
But one thing to bear in mind is, if you go to a LR main dealer they will now only sell you an AGM replacement wether it be for a D3 or D4.
