FBH NANOCOM with video

Hi all,
Having issues with Disco3 FBH not starting so connected my nanocom evo today.

Read Tested (no faults found)
Read not tested (34 faults found)
Read PErmanent (no faults found)

Performed a clear faults on FBH ECU, no errors says its cleared them
Read the DTCs again and it still finds 34 faults in "Read not tested"

What is the "Read Not Tested for?"

video here:
 Best Regards

Generally speaking I think you can ignore "not tested". These are usually possible error conditions that the vehicle had not been able to verify / eliminate yet. Eg parking sensor operation but you haven't enabled the sensors since the codes were cleared. Or, say a temperature sensor because it hasn't been exercised through a specified temperature range. So they remain pending until the test can be completed.

Might be worth getting hold of the Webasto software and a loom and diagnosing it that way?

Got her running!!

Removed air intake and blew with compressed air, removed fuel line from unit and ran fuel purge from NANOCOM.
Then just a matter of engine on and off a few times then she fired up!
Been trying for ages just removing power but I gues fuel line purge and compressed air did the trick (air into inlet allowed turbo fan to spool up inside)

Well done Thumbs Up

Just one word of caution, looking at the smoke coming up inside the bonnet, it may be that the fbh exhaust is cracked behind the inner wheelarch liner, if this is the case there are wires and air suspension pipes behind there that can be melted by the hot exhaust gases. It might be worth a quick check.

Thanks for the heads up, she is smoking a bit from the exhaust silencer-a small hole in top corner.
I will repair with exhaust putty and see if it stops it Smile

Nooooooooooooo !!!!!!!!!! Shocked

Whatever you don't block that hole on the silencer, it's designed to allow exhaust fumes out if the bottom of the exhaust becomes blocked when for instance off-road, it's meant to be there Thumbs Up
