Same thing. Had it booked in for q560/561/562 as really annoying when the windshield trim kept coming off... and they haven't done the tow eye cover as they haven't got the parts! DOH! d4 HSE

Mine was misaligned from day one and when I put it into the dealers they replaced the complete cover and it's now fine - it appears that there was a batch that didn't fit properly

Does anyone have an actual copy of Q562 for the tow eye cover that can be printed or emailed?
My cover keeps coming loose, the vin is within the range shown in this thread but dealer saying doesn't apply to your vehicle sir........

With all respect to the first post author a dealer isn't going to accept a few lines of text on a forum as proof of anything.
I would really like a copy of the actual TSB.

Hope it stays on for you. 2 different dealers have each had an attempt at replacing mine and yet still every time I look at the car its not attached at the top. I'm now so anoyed with it I just kick it every time I get it the car and it clips in, it is hanging off again by the time I've driven anywhere.
Pretty poor really.

having had our taken off in a river crossing (but the kids recovered it) i drilled the cover and attached a nylon cord to cover and tow eye...if it comes off again it stays with the vehicle
