Airbag deforming?
What would cause the airbag to do this?
Is possible it's been out before and not put back correct?

Mines is identical, I think it could be down to the sun heating that part of the leather up and not the rest causing the leather to shrink

Mine is exactly the same - they seem to be going that way with age.
The other annoying thing that you might experience is the horn button may start to stick on as the airbag presses against the button causing enough friction for it to stick down.

From memory, LR would have replaced it FOC up to a certain date which has obviously passed by now.
I assume it's not a safety issue, or they would still be obliged to replace it.
I may of course be wrong.CGA
