FBH is it working
Probably a silly question but how do I know if it has 'fired up'?? The last few days when the temp has been about 5C I think it has come on at start-up. But, how can I check if it is running??

Under front passenger wheel arch you see a pipe coming down. If you wave you hand under that pipe it will be clear if it's running or not. Obviously be careful and don't leave it there too long.IID PRO

You can tell from outside, usually the smell, or a bit of smoke coming from the fbh exhaust under the nearside front wheel arch. You should be able to feel the heat from the exhaust... But don't touch it.

I find it quite easy to see if it's running or not from outside the exhaust smoke from wheel arch and the smell, from inside I usually notice it best at night when reversing of the drive, the white ish smoke is picked up in the headlights.D4 graphite, Loire Blue, ebony leather.

Thanks all, got a chance this morning as it was 4C and checked the exhaust under the nearside wheel. No smoke/steam but could feel the exhaust gasses. Also could easily hear it running on after switching off. Easy when you know!!www.land-rover-lightweight.co.uk/
