Air suspension uneven (RRS 2007)
Hallo,
First I want to ask moderators to move my thread where appropriate. I am new and I cant find the right place on the forum for my Question. Sorry about that.
I have a problem with my car. When I take the car for a drive the rear pumps up more than the front. When the car is parked after a while rear and front height levels become equal. I performed suspension calibration with Lauch, it was succesful, but after a test drive problem returned.
Foult codes assosiated are
U0416 which i understood is a follow up not a real couse.
for what I found out from the Net I should check all modules and compressors and sensors, connectors, plugs in that system.
Can someone help me find where all of these are located
All terrain control module
ride level module
compressors
and everything tat i missed or not know about.
Thank You

What heights are you getting presently? Any messages on the screen etc.?
On what module is the U0416 (Invalid data received from vehicle dynamics control module) code stored?
Are your tyres and pressures all correct?

i get this measurments:
Front left 470 mm
Front right 475mm
Rear left 480 mm
Rear right 485mm
after calibration all heights are 465mm
tyre pressure is correct.
Launch indicates the module as Ride Level Control Module (RLM)

As the air suspension system is identical to that on a D3 of the same age, I have renamed and moved this back to the Technical (D3) forum.
Personally I would be removing the air suspension ECU fuse(s) and leaving the vehicle overnight to see which corner sinks 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!

Thank You very much i will try and report
probaly on monday
It sounds very similar to a problem with my D3 although i don't get any fault codes.
I can recalibrate with the IID Tool & shortly after I get a 5/10mm difference across axles.
I'd be interested if you can put any light on the situation MY16 D4 Landmark SDV6 (The Ice Maiden)
