Sounds just like mine and from the same area - if you remove the abs cover and then listen in, you'll scare yourself

Mine is definitely noisier on the drivers side. Things are a little more packed on the passenger side and suspect that's why the sound is a bit duller there.
I think you should spend a week driving your dad's 90 then you'll stop worrying about funny noises in your D3 IID PRO

It's a little more reassuring knowing that others suffer the same noise!
Something's not right with my D3 and I'm seriously struggling to put my finger on it! Overtime I drive it I'm frustrated/angry/paranoid! If I get in the boot with the engine running it sounds like the exhaust is blowing, which it isn't. To me the engine sounds like it's misfiring/chugging/racing, it doesn't sound how it did two months ago!
I've never had a vehicle that has made me so paranoid and frustrated!
As for the 90, I did a 30 minute journey in it a while back and that was more than enough!
