I have the car set in auto climate all the time on my last two start ups after the engine got warm I was not, if I turn up the heat nothing happens I can feel warm air in foot well but no fan, the rear air con fan can be heard, if press the off button then press auto the fans kick in and all is well. Not the end of the world I know but I like things to work properly or they bug me, and ideas

What happens if you turn the fan speed up manually, without switching CC off?

If you turn it up manually it works fine as it does when I turn the a.c. off at the off button then back on again

What about switching to screen de-mist, does the fan go to high speed then ok?
And what about if it's not on auto when first started. i.e manually adjust the fan speed and directions before turning off for the night, then see if it works different in the morning.

Copied from someone elses post :-
Quote:
With ignition off press and hold the ECON & RECIRC buttons whilst turning ignition on (no need to start car).
The control module will then compare the current HEVAC actuator motor positions with the values stored in the module and will indicate an error by flashing the ECON LED.
If there are no errors, the LED will go out and the system will function normally.
To confirm that there are no errors, turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, then back to the ON position.
Observe the operation of the programmed defrost LED.
If there are errors present, the programmed defrost LED will flash and the system will attempt to calibrate itself. Discovery 4 HSE SDV6 Baltic Blue
