Panic!!
So, done a few little jobs on the D4 today, routed the CB aerial properly and a few other little jobs including a proper install of the BlackVue.
Finished it all off and pushed the START/STOP button to fire up the car and nothing, dash lit up but not starting, not even turning over. Thought I might have disturbed the brake switch but seemd ok and no warning message on the display, checked all fuses, fine, battery voltage fine. Locked it and unlocked it in case it was the immobiliser but no go.
Arrgghh, so I'm thinking about ringing LRA and having a little 'paddy' and give it one more go pushing the START button and almost stamping on the brake pedal and bingo, she fires up.
Seemingley as I had been working near the brake pedal I had pushed it a few times so it has firmed up as the engine was off and needed a decent hard push to disengage the switch on the pedal to let it start!
So glad I didnt call LRA, would have felt a complete muppet!
