Mine has a black curly cable fitted with the old style apple plug and I bought the apple lightening connector - no problems with music
Do you have this type of lead or are you just using the usb socket, if the latter i think the usb socket only works with a memory stickD4 2010 HSE Santorini Black

Bluetooth music streaming isn't supported on my 2010 D4. Has to be connected via the Land Rover cable.

You can't just plug the Apple USB cable into the USB port on a 2010. You need to use the Land Rover specific 'curly' cable to connect the device into the other port in the centre cubby box lid.

There is a bluetooth streaming solution available for a 2010 D4; just search here for bluetooth audio; you would still need the "curly connector" thingy, though...

You will need a 30 pin to lighting connector .. Unfortunately LR never made the curly lead with the lighting connector , just the 30 pin oneG4 Gone ...but not forgotten
