Tailgate dropping

After fitting a ladder to the tailgate it sometimes doesn't stay up. I take it that the struts at 8 years old are getting tired and just need replacing.

Mine did the same when I fitted a ladder.

Steve at advanced factors has them in stock. Easy to change.

New struts fitted. The door now lifts its self with the ladder still fitted.
