Cruise control indication on dash

I have searched the forum and can't find anything. I have just fitted a RR sport steering wheel with the cruise and stereo switches. I have not activated the cruise as I have not yet got the unlock codes for my Nanocom, however I have tried it and it is working although there is no indication on the dash that it is on. Is it normal for this to work without enabling and no indication. If I update the CCF will this then put the indication on the dash or should I not bother since the cruise is definitely working Question

I'd enable it for safety reasons. Thumbs Up

That is normal. It works fine except no indication on dash. Once cruise control or speed control is enabled in the CCF, the light comes on.

Ah right I assumed it wouldn't work at all without enabling it.

this does not happen in 5A and 6A models where it´s necessary to activate it all and never will work directly only with installing the steering wheel switches...but It´s normal in later models, it happens on the last 6A and 7A first, when the CC began to be standard equipment, however it is advisable that you activate it for security reasons Thumbs Up
