| Transmission fault limited gears |

This has happened 3 times now which I resolved by switching off and on again. Fault only occurs when reverse has been selected first time w I was parked on a hill and pulled forward,brake applied and selected reverse and backed down the hill slightly,braked applied again and drive selected and unable to pull forward , transmission fault limited gears with F . Happened again when reversing onto drive . Should I replace the brake pedal switch ? Do not have access to fault reader.
