Iphone hands free

Hi
I apologise as I'm sure this subject has been covered a thousand times but what's the best way to connect my iPhone in the car for hands free , it's an 05 HSE , it doesn't have the green and red phone button on the steering wheel , but it does have a talk button on the left of the wheel and on the CD player there is an on /off button with a pic of a phone on it . Does it have Bluetooth that can pair with the phone already?
Thanks
Richard

Is that what most people do or are there aftermarket better alternatives? I guess it's not as simple as getting the steering wheel swith from a breaker is it , sorry technology is not my favourite thing .

No it's not that simple Shocked

You would need

Bluetooth module
Most cable
Power cable
Steering wheel buttons
Then some ccf edits

Thumbs Up

Cheers Geoff,as I suspected probably not cost effective then , I'll look into aftermarket options then.

depends on what you want , a good parrot kit if there is one, fitted in will more than likely cost approx £200, retro fit the D4 module if you come to me will cost you £285 and no gibbons sitting on the dash Thumbs Up

I use one of these mate, and for about £25 its brilliant, I honestly could not justify spending nearly £300 to get pretty much the same thing.

OK it does not have steering wheel controls, but its so simple and effective. Call quality is great, and you can also stream music from your phone through the car stereo, which you cannot with the other option without spending even more money.

and lets face it owning a D3 you will always have something else to spend that money on which might be more important!!!

Highly recommend it.
